Dazhu District, Taoyuan City – The First Engineering Branch Office of the Freeway Bureau announced that the westbound exit ramp at Dazhu Interchange on Freeway 2 toward Qingpu and the eastbound entrance ramp from southbound Highway 31 to Freeway 2 will be closed nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning, Aug. 17–27 (Monday to Thursday), excluding weekends and holidays, for construction.
The closures are part of the Freeway 2 Dazhu Interchange Improvement Project, which includes widening the westbound exit ramp bridge toward Qingpu. Construction crews will install bridge diaphragm girders and place concrete for the bridge deck during the closure period, according to the construction crew.
While the work is underway, the eastbound outside lane and outside shoulder of Freeway 2 will also be subject to traffic control near the construction area. The two inside lanes will remain open. Motorists are advised to follow traffic control personnel and roadway signs.

1. For vehicles traveling southbound on Highway 31 intending to enter eastbound Freeway 2: Continue toward Qingpu on Highway 31 and make a U-turn at the Wufu Road intersection. Then enter Freeway 2 via the northbound Highway 31 eastbound entrance ramp.
2. Westbound Freeway 2 toward Qingpu: After exiting at Dazhu Interchange, keep right and follow the ramp toward Luzhu. Continue to Highway 31, make a U-turn at Dazhubei Road, and proceed toward Qingpu on Highway 31.
Traffic Advisory
Motorists are advised to anticipate delays and to use alternate routes whenever possible and best to complete their trips before 10 pm to avoid the traffic closure. All construction schedules may be subjected due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
