Linkou District, New Taipei City – The southbound on-ramp at Linkou interchange 'A' of Freeway 1 and Bade Rd. between Wenhua 1st Rd. and Wenhua 2nd Rd. will be closed nightly on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, 10 pm to 6 am, as crews transfer southbound on-ramp of Linko interchange A to the temporary southbound on-ramp and open on Wednesday morning in July 30.
To construct southbound entrance and exit dividing culvert ramp system, the crews schedules to pave and striping a temporary southbound on-ramp of Linko Interchange 'A' and transfer to the new temporary southbound on-ramp. For crews and motorists safety, along the on-ramp and Bade Rd. between Wenhua 1st Rd. and Wenhua 2nd Rd. will be closed during the nightly work. The temporary southbound on-ramp is about 70m behind the original and is to open for traffic on Wednesday, Jul. 30. 2025, 6 a.m., the First Engineering Branch Office said.

1. Motorists are going to enter southbound Freeway 1 through interchange ‘A’ can use the south on-ramp interchange ‘B’ for substitute. Vehicles in Linkou District may follow Zhongxiao Road, turn left onto Wenhua 2nd Road, then turn right onto Bade Road again, then keep on straight southbound and take the south on-ramp of Linkou interchange 'B' to enter Freeway 1.(Figure 1)
2. The temporary southbound on-ramp of Linkou Interchange 'A' is located about 70m behind the original. The width of lane is 3.5m, and the speed limit is 40 km/h.(Figure 2)
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes. The night work is subject to change due to weather or construction related issues.
