The First Engineering Branch Office said that it will schedule to close all southbound ground level lanes on Freeway 1 ( the mainline between 40k+300 and 41k+200 ) at Linkou Interchange, and also close southbound off-ramp connected to Bade Rd. at Linkou Interchange B, for hoisting temporary steel support at Linkou section.
Linkou District, in New Taipei City – Construction crew is alerting motorist of the upcoming Freeway 1 mainline traffic closures and off-ramp closures for the on going Freeway 1 Linkou Interchange Improvement Project. The southbound ground lever traffic lanes between 40k+300 and 41k+200, and southbound off-ramp at Linkou Interchange B of Freeway 1 will be closed nightly from Monday, Jun. 30 through Tuesday, Jul. 01, 2025, 10 pm to 6 am overnight each night, for the freeway new ramp overpass bridge temporary steel support hoisting. The closure will be done to work on the traffic safety, also said by the construction crew.

1. Motorists southbound on freeway 1 approaching to the Linkou Interchange will be detour to off-ramp of Interchange A to Bade Rd. bypass the work zone to on-ramp again. The detour map is as the attached.
2. Motorists are going to exit Freeway 1 through interchange B use the southbound off-ramp of Linkou interchange A for substitute as well. Vehicles may just keep on straight southbound Bade Rd. and go to the destination. The detour map is as the attached.
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes. The night work is subject to change due to weather or construction related issues.
The Construction Crew remind drivers who is planning on going southbound through that closure section of Freeway 1 at that night. Best travel before 10 pm to avoid the traffic closure. All drivers must approach the Linkou Interchange area with care, and follow the instructions of the traffic sign or the traffic controller to ensure safe drive.
