Long-term Closure of the Southbound Outermost Climbing Lane at Linkou Interchange on Freeway 1

Linkou District, in New Taipei City –The First Engineering Branch Office of National Freeway Bureau has announced that the southbound outermost climbing land between the Linkou ‘B’ off-ramp and the Linkou ‘A’ on-ramp will remain closed long-term from November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2026 to facilitate the Linkou Interchange Improvement Construction Project.
This closure is necessary to ensure the safety of construction operations and to accelerate project progress. During this period, the traffic flow on the southbound lanes will be adjusted accordingly.
Traffic Advisory
All motorists are advised to drive with caution when passing through the Linkou Interchange area and to follow the posted traffic signs and on-site personnel instructions to ensure safe travel.
