Zhongshan District, Taipei City – The First Engineering Branch Office will temporarily close the northbound Exit Ramp B at Yuanshan Interchange on Freeway 1 to facilitate traffic-switching work for the Freeway 1 Yuanshan Interchange Improvement Project. To carry out pavement tie-in work between the existing exit ramp and the temporary diversion ramp, the northbound exit ramp at Yuanshan Interchange B on Freeway No. 1, including all ramps leading to the Jianguo Elevated Expressway, Minquan East Road, and Songjiang Road, will be fully closed from 10 PM on to 5 AM on June 23, 2026 (Tuesday).
After the traffic switch is implemented, vehicles exiting northbound Freeway No. 1 toward the Jianguo Elevated Expressway and Minquan East Road shall use the newly constructed temporary ramp. Vehicles destined for Songjiang Road and Minzu East Road at ground level shall continue using the existing exit ramp by keeping to the outermost lane.
The construction team also reminds motorists that the temporary ramp will have a lane width of 3.5 meters and a speed limit of 50 km/h. Drivers are urged to reduce speed and proceed carefully while traveling through the temporary traffic alignment.

Motorists intending to access the Jianguo Elevated Expressway, Songjiang Road, or Minzu East Road via the northbound Exit Ramp B at Yuanshan Interchange are advised to use one of the following alternative routes:
1、 Exit earlier at Taipei Interchange, proceed along local road Chongqing N. Road, turn left onto Minzu E. Road, and continue to Songjiang Road.
2、 Continue northbound to Yuanshan Interchange “A” (Binjiang Road exit), turn right onto Binjiang Street, and proceed to Minzu E. Road.
Traffic Advisory
Motorists traveling through the work zone are urged to slow down, follow posted signs and temporary traffic guidance, and comply with instructions from traffic control personnel to ensure safety.
Additionally, drivers planning to use the northbound exit-ramp at Yuanshan Interchange “B” are advised to complete their travel before 10 pm to avoid potential congestion or delays.
All drivers are urged to approach the Yuanshan Interchange area with caution, and follow posted signs and instructions from traffic controllers to ensure safe travel. In case of postponement or cancellation due to weather or other factors, further notice will be issued.
