An Overnight Closure Of 台 64 Viaduct to Freeway 1 Northbound On-Ramp at Wugu Interchange

Wugu District, New Taipei City - The First Engineering Branch Office will conduct construction for the "Freeway 1 Wugu Interchange Northbound On and Off Ramp Improvement Project." To facilitate work on the new northbound entrance ramp, the connector ramp from the 台 64 Viaduct to the Freeway 1 northbound on-ramp at Wugu Interchange will be scheduled an overnight construction closure from August 10 to August 20, between 11 pm and 6 am nightly, excluding weekends and public holidays. During the closure, motorists are advised to use the ground-level northbound entrance ramp at Wugu Interchange instead. Detour Information-Traffic control measures and a detour map are attached 2. Motorists traveling from Luzhou District to Freeway 1 northbound via Yong-An Bridge should take Zhongxing Road, turn left onto Xinwu Road, and use the northbound on-ramp at Wugu Interchange to enter Freeway 1. 3. Motorists on 台64 heading to Freeway 1 northbound should exit at the second Wugu Interchange, descending to ground-level Zhongxing Road, turn left onto Xinwu Road, and then use the northbound on-ramp at Wugu Interchange to enter Freeway 1. 4. Motorists from the Taishan area, should use Xinwu Road to access the on-ramps at the Wugu Interchange to Freeway 1. 5. Drivers on the connection viaduct between 台 64 and Freeway 1 who miss the ground-level exit should continue to the Freeway 1 southbound on-ramp, travel to Linkou Interchange, and then return to Freeway 1 northbound. Note: The connector ramp to the Freeway 1 southbound entrance at Wugu Interchange will remain open throughout the construction period. Traffic Advisory Motorists should expect delays and are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes. Night construction schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, drivers planning to use the northbound on-ramp at Wuug Interchange via the Highway 64 viaduct are advised to complete their travel before 10 pm to avoid potential congestion or delays. All drivers must approach the Wugu Interchange area with care, and follow the instructions of the traffic sign or the traffic controller to ensure safe drive.
