A total of 23 toll stations on the national freeways are under the jurisdiction of the Bureau and categorized as follows:
I. National freeway No. 1 (Sun Yat Sen Freeway) has 11 toll stations, and tolls are collected both manually and electronically.
1. Xizhi Toll Station: single side (northbound) toll; 2. Taishan Toll Station; 3. Yangmei Toll Station; 4. Zaoqiao Toll Station; 5. Houli Toll Station; 6. Yuemei Toll Station (branch line); 7. Yuanlin Toll Station; 8. Dounan Toll Station; 9. Xinying Toll Station; 10. Xinshi Toll Station; 11. Gangshan Toll Station
II. National freeway No. 3 (Formosa Freeway) has 11 toll stations, and tolls are collected both manually and electronically
1. Qidu Toll Station: single side (northbound) toll; 2. Shulin Toll Station; 3. Longtan Toll Station; 4. Houlong Toll Station; 5. Dajia Toll Station; 6. Mingjian Toll Station; 7. Gukeng Toll Station; 8. Baihe Toll Station; 9. Shanhua Toll Station; 10. Tianliao Toll Station; 11. Zhutian Toll Station
III. National freeway No. 5 (Taipei-Yilan Freeway) currently has the Toucheng Toll Station, and tolls are both manually and electronically. An electronic toll collection system for this station is operated for north/southbound ars and trucks and an electronic toll collection system on ramps for cars.
