Toufen, Miaoli County- In accordance with the construction progress of Freeway 1 Zhonggang River Bridge Reconfiguration Project, the First Engineering Branch Office schedules to let the full northbound lanes left shift to the new river bridge between 113k+480 and 116k+445. And the work will be from Oct. 8, 2024 through Jan. 15, 2025.
In an effort to reach the progress, the work crew will execute the roadway connection pavement during the days. During the road pavement construction period, the northbound traffic lane’s width on Freeway 1 at Zhonggang River Bridge will be narrowed. The width will be changed to be 3.25m for the inner lane and 3.5m for the outer lanes as well as the shoulders’ width will also be narrowed on this stage, as the attached, said the First Engineering Branch Office.
With the traffic cone zone setting, travelers should only anticipate a speed limit reduction to 80 kph for cars and 70kph for big vehicles in this section, and this construction will be starting on 8th Oct. 2024 and concluding on 15th Jan. 2025.
