Nighttime Closure of Southbound Off-Ramp at Wugu Interchange on Freeway No. 1 toward Taishan, Xinzhuang, and Highway 65

Wugu District, New Taipei City – The First Engineering Branch Office announced that the southbound off-ramp at the Wugu Interchange of Freeway 1, connecting to Taishan, Xinzhuang, and Highway 65, will be closed for the overpass bridge widening project above the ramp. The closure will take place on Thursday night, November 20 2025, from 11 pm to 6 am.
According to the construction crew, the work involves dismantling the existing bridge barriers. The temporary closure is necessary to ensure traffic safety during construction.
Detour information -Traffic control measures and a detour map are provided.
Motorists traveling southbound on Freeway 1 and intending to exit at Wugu Interchange toward Taishan, Xinzhuang, or Highway 65 are advised to take the right-hand exit ramp toward Wugu and Highway 64 instead. Continue along Xinwu Road at ground level, proceed straight to the Zhongxing Road intersection, and make a U-turn to reach your destination.

Drivers should anticipate delays and are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes. The construction crew reminds motorists planning to use the Wugu Interchange southbound off-ramp on Freeway 1 during the closure period to adjust their travel schedules.
