Traffic News：Freeway 3 Scheduled for Southbound On-Ramps of Daxi Interchange and Viaduct Expressway 台66 Westbound On-Ramp Night Closure in Daxi District
The First Engineering Branch Office said it will schedule to close southbound on-ramp at Daxi interchange of Freeway 3, and also close the westbound on-ramp at Daxi End of Viaduct Expressway 台66 due to enhance the roadway asphalt concrete pavement as well as road surface striping. Those will take 5 nights work to be done.
Daxi District, in Taoyuan City – Construction crew is alerting motorist of the upcoming Freeway 3 on-ramp traffic closures in Daxi Interchange and the Viaduct Expressway 台66 on-ramp closures at Daxi End for the road surfacing and striping work. There are 2 on-ramp for the County Route 112甲 (Yongchang Rd.) to enter Freeway 3 Southbound will be closed in phases, and the Daxi End of Viaduct Expressway 台66 westbound to Zongli District and Pindzhen District will also be closed. Night closures are from Sunday, June 29 through Friday, July 4, 2025, 9 pm to 6 am overnight each night. All the closure will be done to work on the traffic and construction safety.
For the purpose of easily reaching road users' destination, motorists are recommended to cope with the closure as the followings.
Our traffic closure phases are：
• The westbound County Route 112甲 (Yongchang Rd.) to Freeway 3 Southbound on-ramp
  Sunday, June 29, 2025, 9 pm to 6 am.
• The eastbound County Route 112甲 (Yongchang Rd.) to Freeway 3 Southbound on-ramp
  Monday, June 30 through Friday, July 4, 2025, 10 pm to 6 am each night.
• Local road, Yongchang Road(112甲), westbound ramp up to viaduct 台66 at Daxi End
  Monday, June 30 through Friday, July 4, 2025, 10 pm to 6 am each night.
• By 6 am all ramps will be reopened.

Detour1-Vehicles on westbound county route 112 甲(Yongchang Rd.) heading to Freeway 3 southbound please keep going straight and turn around at the intersection of the 112甲(Yongchang Rd.) and the Highway 台66 Daxi End, then take the other entrance ramp on the way of 112甲(Yongchang Rd.) eastbound for alternative. The detour map is as the attached 1.
Detour2-Vehicles on eastbound county route 112 甲(Yongchang Rd.) heading to Freeway 3 southbound please keep going straight and turn around at the intersection of the 112甲(Yongchang Rd.) and the Provinicial Route 3, then take the other entrance ramp on the way of 112甲(Yongchang Rd.) westbound for alternative. The detour map is as the attached 2.
Detour3-For vehicles on Yongchang Road(112甲) at Daxi End westbound up to viaduct Expressway 台66 may keep on traveling Yongchang Road(112甲) northbound to Nanxing Road(桃64), then make U-turn at the intersection of Yongchang Road(112甲) and Nanxing Rd. (桃64), and then drive on the ground level road beside the Expressway 台66 westbound stretch to your destination. The detour map is as the attached 3.
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes. All work is subject to change due to weather or construction related issues.
