Traffic News：Nightly Closure of the Northbound Taishan Intermediate Transfer Off-Ramp

Wugu District, New Taipei City – The First Engineering Branch Office has announced that the northbound Taishan Intermediate Transfer off-ramp connecting to the Xizhi–Yangmei elevated viaduct will be closed nightly from Monday, October 20 through Wednesday, October 22, 2025, between 11 pm and 6 am. The closure is required for traffic gantry installation.
Detour information-- A traffic control and detour map is attached.
1. The Xizhi-Yangmei elevated viaduct of Freeway 1 will remain open for through traffic, drivers may continue on the viaduct to pass the closed section.
2. Drivers intending to use the Taishan Intermediate Transfer off-ramp to reach Wugu, Xinzhuang, Taishan, or Sanchong Districts are advised to transfer to the ground-level roadway of Freeway 1 at in advance at the Zhongli Intermediate Transfer to reach their destinations.
Traffic Advisory--
Motorists should expect possible delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes. The nightly work schedule may be adjusted due to weather or construction conditions.
Drivers are advised to complete northbound trips before 11:00 p.m. to avoid delays. Please follow the traffic signs, and overhead Changeable Message Sighs (CMS) for real-time information.
