Night Closure of Southbound Main lanes on Freeway 1 and Linkou Interchange B Off-Ramp

Linkou District, New Taipei City – The southbound mainline lanes between kilometer markers 40k+300 and 41k+200 in Linkou District section, as well as the southbound off-ramp at Linkou Interchange B on Freeway 1 will be fully closed from 10 pm to 6 am on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 to carry out the removal of temporary steel supports for the steel box girder of the new ramp overpass bridge. The construction team noted that the closure is necessary to ensure traffic safety.
Detour information
Traffic control measures and a detour map are attached for reference.
1. Southbound motorists on Freeway 1 are advised to exit earlier at Interchange A and use Bade Rd., a local road running parallel to freeway, to reach Interchange B.
2. Motorists who normally exit southbound Freeway 1 via Linkou Interchange B are also advised to use the southbound off-ramp at Linkou Interchange A in advance and continue along Bade Road.
Traffic Advisory
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly encourage to use alternate routes. Please note that night construction schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen site issues.
Drivers traveling southbound through the Linkou section of Freeway 1, or planning to use the Linkou Interchange B off-ramp, are advised to complete their trips before 10 pm to avoid congestion and delays.
