Nighttime Closure of Southbound Exit Ramp A at Linkou Interchange on Freeway 1

Linkou District, New Taipei City - The First Engineering Branch Office of the Freeway Bureau announced that the southbound Exit Ramp A at Linkou Interchange on Freeway 1 will be closed from 10 PM on July 14 to 6 AM the following morning, 2026, to facilitate asphalt pavement milling and resurfacing works, as well as pavement marking restoration, under the Linkou Interchange Improvement Project on Freeway 1. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and follow the designated detour routes during the construction period.
Detour Information
Traffic control measures will be in place, and a detour map is attached for reference:
• Motorists intending to exit Freeway 1 southbound via Linkou Interchange A toward the Linkou or Guishan areas are advised to continue southbound and exit at Linkou Interchange B instead, then proceed via Bade Road and Wenhua North Road to reach their destinations.
Traffic Advisory
• Drive with Caution: During the construction period, drivers traveling through the work zone are urged to reduce speed, stay alert, and strictly follow existing traffic signs and temporary guidance signs installed by the contractor. Please comply with all instructions provided by traffic control personnel to ensure safety.
• Weather Contingency: Should the work be postponed or canceled due to adverse weather conditions or other construction-related factors, a separate announcement will be issued.
• Early Travel Advised: The Construction Crew remind drivers planning to travel through the affected ramps to complete their trips before 10 PM to avoid the closure.
