Nightly Closure Northbound Exit Ramp Bound For Highway 64 at Wugu Interchange of Freeway 1

Wugu District, New Taipei City – The First Engineering Branch Office has announced long-term nightly closures of the northbound exit ramp at Wugu Interchange on Freeway 1, heading to Bali District and Xindian District, will be closed for the overpass bridge widening project above the ramp.
The closures will be carried out in 3 phases:
• Monday, December 15 to Thursday, December 18
• Monday, December 22 to Tuesday, December 23
• Monday, December 29 to Tuesday, December 30
Each closures will take place nightly from 10 pm to 6 am the following morning.
Detour information - Traffic control measures and a detour map are attached.
Motorists traveling on the northbound exit ramp at the Wugu Interchange toward Bali and Xindian are advised to instead use the right-hand exit ramp toward Taishan and Xinzhuang Districts. From there, proceed to the ground-level road, continue straight, make a U-turn at Zhonggang S. Rd., then continue on to Section 3, Zhongxing Rd. Finally, turn right to access the Wugu 2nd Interchange of Highway 64 toward Bali and Xindian.
Traffic Advisory
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to consider alternate routes. Nighttime construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other construction-related factors.
The Construction Crew remind drivers who is planning on travel through the northbound exit ramp at the Wugu Interchange of Freeway 1 during the construction period to complete their trips before 10 pm to avoid the closure. All drivers should approach the Wugu Interchange with caution and follow traffic signs or on-site personnel instructions to ensure safety.
