Traffic News：2 nights closure for all NB traffic lanes of Freeway 1 in Zhongli District
Zhongli Distric in Taoyuan City – The First Engineering Branch Office schedules to close all Freeway 1 northbound ground level traffic lanes between Zhongli Interchange and Neili Interchange, and the elevated viaduct between Yangmei and Wugu, due to set up a new traffic gantry. That is a part of the Project of Zhongfeng Interchange Construction at the junction with the Zhongli Intermediate Transfer, and Freeway Main Lanes Coordination Improvement.
Crews said nightly traffic holds are scheduled between Zhongli Interchange and Neili Interchange on Tuesday, Aug 5, through Wednesday, Aug 6, 11 pm to 6 am eachnight overnight. By 6 am, all freeway lanes will be reopened.
Detour – traffic control and detour map is below
1. Vehicles on Freeway 1 Northbound should all exit at the Zhongli Interchange then take local route 114 (Minzu Rd.), Northbound 台1 through 110甲(Zhongyuan Rd.), to the Neili Interchange Northbound on-ramp for detour.
2. Vehicles at Xiaoqian interchange heading to northbound Yangmei and Wugu elevated viaduct of Freeway1 please transfer to Yangmei Interchange, the ground level Freeway 1 for detour.
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes. All work is subject to change due to weather or construction related issues. Detailed information can be found at https://www.freeway.gov.tw/.
