Night Closure of Northbound Exit Ramp at Linkou Interchange A and Northbound On-Ramp at Linkou Interchange B

Guishan District, in Taoyuan City - The First Engineering Branch Office has announced scheduled nightly closures of the northbound exit ramp at Linkou Interchange A and northbound on-ramp at Linkou Interchange B on Freeway 1. The closures are necessary for the construction of a ramp drainage system of the new vehicle culvert.
The closure will be carried out in 2 phases:
• Wednesday, September 17 to Thursday, September 18
• Tuesday, September 30 to Thursday, October 2
Each closure will take place nightly from 10 pm to 6 am the following morning.
Detour information
Traffic control measures and a detour map are attached for reference.
1. Motorists who normally exit northbound Freeway 1 at Linkou Interchange A are advised to use the northbound exit-ramp at Linkou Interchange B instead.
2. Motorists intending to enter northbound Freeway 1 via Linkou Interchange B should use the north on-ramp at Linkou Interchange A as an alternative.
Traffic Advisory
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly encouraged to plan ahead or use alternate routes. The night work schedule is subject to change depending on weather condition or construction progress.
The Construction Crew remind drivers planning to travel through the affected ramps to complete their trips before 10 pm to avoid the closures. All drivers are urged to approach the Linkou Interchange area with caution and follow the instructions of the traffic sign or the on-site personnel to ensure the safety.
