Nightly Closures of Southbound Off-Ramp at Wugu Interchange on Freeway No. 1 Toward Highway 64

Wugu District, New Taipei City – The First Engineering Branch Office schedule nightly closures southbound exit ramp at Wugu interchange Freeway 1 connected to Highway 64. The closures are required for the overpass bridge widening construction above the off-ramp.
The closures will take place in 2 phases:
• Monday, Dec. 22, to Tuesday, Dec. 23
• Monday, Dec. 29, to Tuesday, Dec. 30
Each closure will take place nightly from 11 pm to 6 am the following morning.
According to the construction crew, the work involves dismantling the existing bridge barriers. The temporary closure is necessary to ensure traffic safety during construction.

Motorists traveling on the southbound exit ramp at Wugu interchange Freeway 1 heading toward Bali and Xindian area can alternate the left hand side exit ramp bound for Ziqian, to the ground level road then keep straight to Section 3, Zhongxing Rd. and then turn right to Wugu 2nd Interchange of Provincial Highway 台64 and bound for Bali and Xindian area.
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes. The night work is subject to change due to weather or construction related issues.
The Construction Crew remind drivers who is planning on going through southbound exit ramp at the Wugu Interchange of Freeway 1 at that night. Best travel before 11 pm to avoid the traffic closure. All drivers must approach the Wugu Interchange area with care, and follow the instructions of the traffic sign or the traffic controller to ensure safe drive.
