Traffic News:Nightly Closures of Westbound off-ramp at Dazhu Interchange on Freeway 2 Toward Qingpu
Dazhu Distric, Taoyuan City – The First Engineering Branch Office announced that the westbound Off-Ramp at Dazhu Interchange on Freeway 2 leading toward Qingpu will be closed nightly from June 1 to June 4, 2026 (Monday through Thursday), between 10 pm and 6 am the following morning, to facilitate the elevated off-ramp widening bridge deck concrete pouring work for the “Freeway 2 Dazhu Interchange Improvement Project.”
According to the construction team, the closures are required to advance the work safety for the exit elevated off-ramp widening bridge deck concrete pouring work and the temporary safety steel plates installation. During construction operations, parts of the main lanes underneath the overpass ramp will also be closed as the work moves along. These temporary closures are necessary to ensure the safety of both motorists and construction personnel.

During the closure period, vehicles intending to westbound exit ramp at the Dazhu Interchange toward Qingpu are advised to keep roght and use the right-side exit ramp toward Luzhu, proceed to the Highway 31, continue on the ground-level road, make a U-turn at the Dazhu North Road Intersection, and then continue southbound on Highway 31 toward Qingpu.
Traffic Advisory
Motorists are advised to anticipate delays and to use alternate routes whenever possible. All construction schedules may be subjected due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
Drivers planning to travel through westbound off-ramp at the Dazhu Interchange during the closure period are encouraged to complete their trips before 10 pm to avoid the traffic closure. All drivers should proceed with caution and follow posted traffic signs and the directions of traffic control personnel to ensure safe passage.
