Nightly Closure Of Southbound On-Ramp At Linkou Interchange A

Linkou District, New Taipei City – The First Engineering Branch Office announced that the southbound on-ramp at Linkou Interchange A on Freeway 1 will be closed nightly for road resurfacing and the pavement markings. The closure will be closed nightly on Monday, Aug. 25. 2025, 10 pm to 6 am. The closure is necessary to ensure construction safety and improve overall traffic safety.

Motorists normally enter southbound Freeway 1 via the on-ramp at Linkou Interchange A are advised to use the southbound on-ramp at Linkou Interchange B instead. Drivers may keep on southbound Bade Road, a local road running parallel to Freeway 1, to reach Linkou Interchange B, according to the construction team.
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly encourage to use alternate routes. Please note that night construction schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen site issues.
Additionally, drivers planning to use the southbound on-ramp at Linkou Interchange A are advised to complete their travel before 10 pm to avoid potential congestion or delays.
