Nightly Closure Northbound Exit Ramp To Highway 64 at Wugu Interchange on Freeway 1

Wugu District, New Taipei City – The First Engineering Branch Office announced that the northbound exit ramp at the Wugu Interchange on Freeway 1, connecting to Highway 64 toward Bali and Xindian, will be subject to long-term nightly closures to facilitate overpass bridge widening works.
The closures will take place from April 20 to May 14, between 11 pm and 6 am nightly, excluding weekends and public holidays. The project team stated that the traffic control measures are necessary to maintain safety during construction.

Motorists heading northbound and intending to access Highway 64 toward Bali and Xindian are advised to take the right-hand exit ramp toward Taishan and Xinzhuang. After exiting, proceed to the surface road, continue straight, make a U-turn at Zhonggang South Road, then continue along Section 3, Zhongxing Road. Finally, turn right to access the Wugu 2nd Interchange of Highway 64.
Traffic Advisory
Drivers are advised to expect possible delays and are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternative routes. Construction schedules may be adjusted subject to weather conditions or operational requirements.
The construction team urges motorists who plan to use the affected ramp to complete their trips before 10 pm to avoid the closures. Drivers are also reminded to exercise caution and follow all traffic signs and instructions from on-site personnel.
