Nightly Closure of Northbound Exit Ramp “B” at Yuanshan Interchange on Freeway 1

Zhongshan District, Taipei City – The First Engineering Branch Office announced that the northbound Exit Ramp “B” at Yuanshan Interchange on Freeway 1 will be closed nightly from 11 pm to 5 am the following day on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, to facilitate traffic-sign gantry removal works under the “Freeway 1 Yuanshan Interchange Improvement Projec”. The construction team noted that the closure is necessary to ensure traffic safety.

During the closure, the northbound Exit Ramp “B” leading to Jianguo Elevated Road, Songjiang Road or Minzu E. Road will be unavailable. Motorists are advised to follow the suggested detour routes below:
1、 Exit earlier at Taipei Interchange, proceed along Chongqing N. Road, turn left onto Minzu E. Road, and continue to Songjiang Road.
2、 Continue to Yuanshan Interchange “A” (Binjiang Road exit), turn right onto Binjiang Street, and proceed to Minzu E. Road.
Traffic Advisory
Motorists traveling through the work zone are urged to slow down, follow posted signs and temporary traffic guidance, and comply with instructions from traffic control personnel to ensure safety.
Additionally, drivers planning to use the northbound exit-ramp at Yuanshan Interchange “B” are advised to complete their travel before 11 pm to avoid potential congestion or delays.
All drivers are urged to approach the Yuanshan Interchange area with caution, and follow posted signs and instructions from traffic controllers to ensure safe travel. In case of postponement or cancellation due to weather or other factors, further notice will be issued.
