Geographic Location
Hsuehshan(Xueshan) Tunnel is situated between Pinglin Township, Taipei County and Toucheng Township, Yilan County. It is 12.9 kilometres in length. By cutting through the Hsuehshan(Xueshan) Mountains, Hsuehshan(Xueshan) Tunnel shortens the originally nearly 1 hour route to just over 10 minutes. Its location can be seen in the illustration below:
