Toufen, Miaoli County- The First Engineering Office is rebuilding Zhonggang River Bridge on Freeway 1, between the southbound milestation 113k+760 and 115k+933 at Toufen Township, and will be diverted to the new southbound lane form 11th Dec 2023.
During the road pavement construction period, the southbound traffic lane’s width on Freeway 1 at Zhonggang River Bridge will be narrowed from 3.65m to 3.25~3.5m and the shoulders’ width will also be narrowed on this stage, as the attachement shown, said the First Engineering Office.
Traffic impacts will be minimal while we are paving the road by arrange the pavement schedule from the inner lane to outer lane step by step. With the traffic cone zone setting, travelers should only anticipate a speed limit reduction to 80 kph for cars and 70kph for big vehicles in this section, and this construction will be starting on 11th Dec 2023 and concluding on 31th Aug 2024.
